The Billy bookcase with the extension is the perfect size for the weird nook we have in our (pantryless) kitchen, but I only see IKEA doors in the Billy section that go to 76 3/8", whereas the bookcase unit itself is 93 1/4". I guess I could just leave the top open and store nicer-looking and rarely used items there.

Re: Library stairs anyone?

It is a really cool idea for nursery set ups.

Re: Watching TV in bed

Site is clueless. I was trying to understand from a couple emails today from the latter what a 'typical' solution would be as we weren't on the same page. He mentioned about the fact that tankless companies controllers have indicators to show burner activity which I don't quite understand.

Re: Hot Water (Tankless) & “Cold Sandwich”

I was definitely a little tweaked, but I guess the small holding tank is cheaper than a recirc. system, timer, and valves all over. When I update the master bath I'll include one of these options for sure.

Re: Hot Water (Tankless) & “Cold Sandwich”

I have the same problem, wish I knew before I installed a tankless. Another guy said he had "involve custom-built electronic sensors and indicators" which sounds crazy. You'd think the tankless makers would have figured some feedback design to minimize this problem. I wonder what their official recommendation is? Using a small holding tank sounds like a workaround that they also can't expect people to do in selling their products.

Re: Pedestrian bridge that is anything but

http://seattletimes.com/htm...
The Vancouver Land Bridge. Sweet project!

Re: Library stairs anyone?

Not sure, it looks a little like stained concrete with a rubber nosing, but it's not quite clear.

Re: Library stairs anyone?

That's really neat. Actually, it is good to use these types of paints because non-VOC paints prevent us from asthma , allergy and other respiratory problems. Also, we can use milk paints that contain milk protein casein and lime. It doesn't contain VOC and safe to use for the home. Thanks.

Re: More work coming into DOTS

Glad to hear you landed that Philadelphia airport gig.
